What's actually on screen during the test

- Not provided: a computer-algebra system (CAS). The built-in calculator graphs and computes — it doesn't print symbolic step-by-step algebra.

Practicing on the same tool you'll see on test day matters more than most prep. Three concrete steps:

- Learn a small set of repeatable moves. - Know when not to use it. Simple arithmetic is faster in your head. The calculator wins on equations, systems, graphs, unknowns, and anything with fractions or decimals.
Honest limitations
Calculator strategy makes you faster and removes algebra mistakes — it doesn't replace knowing what a question is asking. If you can't read a word problem or don't know what a vertex is, the calculator can't decide for you.
